Short-stay listings across Kenya were scattered across WhatsApp groups, Instagram pages, and word of mouth — with no easy way for a guest to know if a listing was real, accurately described, or safe to book. Photos didn't always match reality, and there was no consistent way to verify a host before sending money.
Manzo exists to fix that gap. Every listing marked "Hakikisho verified" has been visited in person by our team — we check the host's identity, confirm the property matches its photos, and make sure the amenities listed actually exist. Guests get confidence; hosts get a trustworthy place to be discovered.
We deliberately kept booking direct between guest and host over WhatsApp — no commissions, no payment middlemen holding your money. Manzo's job is to build the trust layer, not to insert itself into every transaction.
